The Rustlers travelled up to Grande Prairie to face the Wolves and on Friday night the Rustlers defeated the Wolves 3-0 (25-20, 29-27, 25-11).
The Rustlers began the match strong, winning the first set 25-20. The Rustlers went up early in the second set, however, some strong serving from the Wolves combined with some missed serves at key times for the Rustlers forced the set to extra points where the Rustlers would be victorious in the end, 29-27.
The close second set loss seemed to be deflating for the Wolves and the Rustlers would capitalize and carry their momentum until the end. The Rustlers would win the third set handily, 25-11, and take the match in 3 sets.
Player of the game for the Rustlers was first-year outside hitter, Madison Blain, with 9 kills, 5 service aces and 11 digs. Her counterpart, first-year outside hitter, Jenay Varga, also added 9 kills, 1 block, 5 service aces, and 7 digs.

On Saturday, the Rustlers looked to complete their weekend sweep over the Wolves. They would be successful as they took the game in 3 sets once again (25-23, 25-18, 25-20).
The Wolves would start their Saturday match strong and would trade nearly point for point with the Rustlers throughout the first set. The Rustlers would execute under pressure and come out on top 25-23.
The Wolves would falter slightly in the second set and the Rustlers would continue to run with their momentum winning the second set 25-18. In the third set, the Rustlers would go up big early in the set, allowing for some substitutions to happen and get more people out on the court. The Rustlers would win the third set in a full-team effort, 25-20 and take the match 3-0.
The Rustlers were led by first-year outside hitter, Jenay Varga with a team-high 15 kills, 3 service aces, and 10 digs. Madison Blain would have 7 kills, 1 block, and 6 digs in the match and Avery Maginel would add 5 kills, 3 blocks, and 3 digs for the Rustlers.
