What it Takes to be a Rustler

As a member of a Lakeland Rustler Athletic team student athletes are challenged with achieving success in the departments 3 C’s. 

Success in the Classroom

Each Rustler athlete is challenged to achieve their highest academic standing in the classroom.  Resources through the Learning commons are available to assist student-athletes in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Success in Competition

Each Rustler team is challenged by the department and coaching staff to achieve their highest competitive level in their sport.  Team and individual training sessions are key components to reaching this level.

Success in the Community

Rustler student-athletes are ambassadors of Lakeland Rustler athletics and are held accountable to displaying traits that portray themselves in a positive light.  Rustler student-athletes are also engaged in the Lakeland communities, sharing their leadership traits with others.
