Rustlers Women's Soccer welcomes new recruit
Lakeland is proud to welcome a homegrown recruit to the women's soccer program for the 2021 – 2022 year. Haylee Rogers is a Lloydminster recruit who will be graduating from Holy Rosary High School in June and has registered to take University Transfer classes in September.
Haylee indicated that she has been playing soccer in Lloydminster for as long as she can remember and is extremely excited to become a member of the Rustlers team and family.
"I have seen Haylee grow over the last couple of years," commented head coach Laith Matlak. "Haylee has a very strong work ethic and I believe she can accomplish anything when she puts her mind to it."
Rogers has spent the last few years not only playing soccer in Lloydminster but also volunteering time to coach some younger players in the community as well. She loves sharing her passion and knowledge of the game with others
Matlak added, "Haylee is a very strong soccer player and we expect to see her make an immediate impact on the program. I cannot wait to see how much she continues to grow as a player and a person at the next level."
