Bio
Taylor Dyer is heading into his 14th year as head coach of the men’s volleyball program at Lakeland. He holds bachelor degrees in Kinesiology and Education from the University of Saskatchewan. Coach Dyer is a Certified Advanced Development Coach, and a Trained Performance Coach.
Coach Dyer led the Rustlers to their 5th straight birth to the ACAC Conference Championships, and their 2nd straight medal match, last season. The Rustlers also had their highest winning percentage in program history, as well as the highest finish of any Rustlers Men’s Volleyball Team. Dyer is very excited about the solid core of returning players and high caliber recruits for the upcoming season.
Previously, Dyer spent three years working with the Rustlers women’s program, two years as an assistant and one year as interim head coach.
Dyer came to the Rustlers in 2009 after spending 6 seasons as an assistant coach with the University of Saskatchewan women’s program. While at the U of S, he also coached the Huskies United Club team for 3 years, and ran the Colonsay Central Storm Volleyball Club, with his brother Austin, for 4 years.
Taylor is also the Rustlers Volleyball Club Director, with a total of 20 teams last season in both genders from ages 13-18.
