Bio

Reuben Baker is heading into his 4th season with the Lakeland College Men's Volleyball program. What began as a return to community out of a Covid-impacted school year, Coach Reubens role with Lakeland continues to grow as the program does. 

Coach Baker has a Bachelor of Education degree from the U of A with a major in history. He is a veteran high school teacher, coach, sports official, and Athletic Director in Marwayne, AB and has called the Lloydminster area home for the last 17 years. He has coached various sports over the past 20+ years, but has always had a passion for volleyball. Coach Baker displays a real love of sport, and is driven by competition. He also loves music and travel, which he enjoy with his wife, Chrissy, and their two young daughters Malin and Kyler.
