Recap:
Bad fortune hit the men's soccer squad again this year, after finally clinching third place in the North Division after narrowly missing the last two years, they didn't participate in the postseason, due to the NWP Wolves competing in the tournament as hosts. Once again, the Rustlers were competitive against the best teams in the conference, holding their own against the two teams that competed in the championship game. Malin had one of the best offensive seasons in the history of the men's program and Gavin Quinlan was finally recognized for his rock-solid two-way play. Several first year players also made an impact this fall.
Looking Ahead:
The futsal season began in earnest the moment the soccer season ended, with the team primed to host the ACAC Championship March 6-9. Until then, they will have two regional tournaments on Jan. 17-20 and Feb. 21-23.
