Thomas named assistant coach for the Montreal Alliance

Rustlers men's basketball head coach, Sheray Thomas, has been named assistant coach for the Montreal Alliance.  He will be in charge of player development for the 2022 Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) season.

"I am excited for the opportunity to assist in the basketball development of the Montréal Alliance," said Thomas. "I would like to thank Joel Anthony, Annie Larouche and Vincent Lavandier for allowing me to be a part of the staff. It is a dream to work with a professional basketball program just minutes away from where I grew up in Lasalle. With the support and excitement of our community, this can truly be a special time for basketball in Montréal."

Working with the coaching staff of the Montreal Alliance will give Coach Thomas some great professional development opportunities as well as allow him and his family to spend some time closer to home for the summer.
