Lakeland College Athletics enjoyed a season for the ages. Over the next week, we will be sharing a recap of each team's second semester finish.
Results
Lakeland curling improved on the success of 2023.
Mixed curling pulled off a rare feat of winning a third straight ACAC Title. Women's curling improved their win-loss record to finish fifth, while men's curling returned to the league a multi-year absence and made the playoffs in fourth.
Highlights
At the ACAC Championship, the mixed team won five of six games and had to bounce back from an RDP loss to win two straight games to win gold.
Third Grace Christensen was named to the All-Conference Team.
Statistics
Over the course of the ACAC Championship, the mixed team curled at a rate of 83%.
Summer Outlook
Curling will lose four athletes, while the rest of the team will return to action in the fall.
