Bio

Coach Church immigrated to Lloydminster from Irthlingborough, England with his family in 2012. The sport of soccer has always been a passion, he grew up playing for Rushden & Higham United from the age of 5 up until he moved to Canada. 

Upon graduating from Lloydminster Comprehensive High School in 2016, Doyle joined the Men’s Soccer program coached by Kevin Wagner. While taking his Accounting Major Degree, Doyle played as a student-athlete in 2016-17 & from 2018-2022 being apart of Bronze and Silver Medal campaigns in ACAC Futsal while also tallying 29 games played in ACAC Soccer regular season and playoffs scoring 5 goals. 

In the 2022-23 Season Doyle joined both Kevin & Wendy Wagner’s coaching staff for the Men’s & Women’s programs, he has coached youth soccer since 2017, coaching various ages and groups as well as being the Meridian Soccer Academy Head Coach since 2021. In his first season as Head Coach, his team set a program record for most points in a soccer season (17) along with most wins (5), which was matched the season after in 2024-25. In 3 Futsal seasons as Head Coach the Program has qualified for Futsal Championships each year with the highlight coming in 2025 when hosting the Championships and playing in the Bronze Medal game, the programs first medal game since 2017. Doyle now heads into his fourth season as the Head Coach of Rustlers Women’s Soccer & Futsal.
