Three Rustler Women’s Basketball Players Announced to All – Conference Team
Three Members of the Rustlers Women's Basketball Brianne Hergott, Bilge Topalogu, and Jaden Cook, were honored on March 4, 2020 with All-Conference Awards at the ACAC Women's Basketball Championship Banquet in Medicine Hat.
Brianne Hergott a 6'0, fifth-year forward from Humboldt, SK received a First Team All-Conference Award. Hergott has been at the center of the Rustlers success this season as she is able to make an impact on both sides of the floor rebounding the ball. She averaged 10.0 PPG, 8.1 RPG (2nd in ACAC North) and 47 FG% throughout the regular season.
Bilge Topalogu a 6'3, third-year forward from Istanbul, Turkey received Second Team All-Conference Award. Topalogu has one of the most diverse skill sets in the ACAC, being able to score from inside and outside, dominate the glass and display elite-level passing. She averaged 11.7 PPG 7.8 RPG (5th in ACAC North) throughout the regular season.
Jaden Cook a 5'5, third-year guard from Regina, SK received a Second Team All-Conference Award. Cook proved herself as one of the top shooters in the ACAC this season as she increased her scoring from 3.9 PPG last season to 11.0 PPG with 42.1% from the 3 point line (2nd in the ACAC) and 48 made 3's (3rd in ACAC) during regular season play.
Hergott, Topaloglu, and Cook lead the Rustlers to a 19 - 5 regular-season record, good for 2nd place in the ACAC North Division this season.
