Bio

Peter helped establish the rowing program at Lakeland in 1996 and has been coaching Rustler crews ever since.

Walsh started his rowing career in 1976 in his home province of Ontario. His experience includes high school rowing, club rowing and university rowing.

He is currently working towards his RCA Performance Coach certification under the new NCCP guidelines.

He has guided Rustler Crew to some success at the provincial and regional levels including five consecutive novice women's eight championships at the Alberta University Rowing Championships and five gold medals at the Western Canadian University Rowing Championships.

He has shown his ability to work with the advanced rowers as well as assist novice rowers to develop a passion for the sport.

Walsh has been an agricultural sciences instructor at Lakeland College since 1984.
