Bio

Taylor Dyer is heading into his twelth year as head coach of the men’s volleyball program at Lakeland. He holds bachelor degrees in Kinesiology and Education from the University of Saskatchewan. Coach Dyer is a Certified Advanced Development Coach, and a Trained Performance Coach.

Previously, Dyer spent three years working with the Rustlers women’s program, two years as an assistant and one year as interim head coach. 

Dyer came to the Rustlers in 2009 after spending 6 seasons as an assistant coach with the University of Saskatchewan women’s program. While at the U of S, he also coached the Huskies United Club team for 3 years, and ran the Colonsay Central Storm Volleyball Club, with his brother Austin, for 4 years. 

Taylor is also the Rustlers Volleyball Club Director, with a total of 18 teams last season in both genders from ages 13-18.

Coach Dyer led the Rustlers to a birth at Conference Championships last season, as well as one of the highest win totals in the programs history. Dyer is very excited about the solid core of returning players and high caliber recruits for the upcoming season.
