Bio

Alan has been a staff member at Lakeland College for over 35 years. He spent 13 years as the head coach of the men’s volleyball program and one year leading the women. He has been the athletic director for over 15 years and embraces the challenges and successes of the role.  In Rogan’s time as athletic director he has added the sports of soccer, futsal and women’s hockey increasing the number of student athletes competing in the ACAC to just under 150.

In the 2016–17 year Rogan was awarded the Alberta Colleges Athletic Association and Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Athletic Director of the Year awards.  

As the Athletic Director he has enjoyed growing the athletics program to be competitive not only in the ACAC but also nationally.
